I believe that I am big fun of movies but I dont spend to much time seeing them. I try to go to the cinema sometimes but it is really difficult with all the things that I have to do. The thing is that the last movie that I sow in the cinema was Harry Potter, the sixth one. I sow it because I have read all the books and I like too see mi ideas represented by actors.
Even though I like all kind of movies I prefer those ones that you have to find your own explanation for the things. For example one of my favourite movies is "the clockwork orange". His director is Stanley Kubrik´s. I like this one because the first time that I started to see it, it wasn´t easy to imagine what is going to continue. Also it was really interesting to see how human beings could be easily conditionated. Summarizing, this films was about 4 friends who like to play in a weird way, they like to hurt people. The protagonist was sent to jail and there he was accept to be part of a new scientific experiment about human behavior. The experiment tried to demostrate that you can make that bad people behave in a good way by some methods that make your body to get accostumed to some situations. The protagonist was conditionated by classic music by shock therapy. Scientifics showed them violence videos with classic music, at the end, he wasnt able to listen to classic music, specifically Beethoven. He vomit and feel nauseas. He tried to commit suicide, but he coulndt and the government had to indemnified him.
I think it is a good movie, I have seen it like four or five times, and I always find a new concept to analyze.
Well. Thats all.
See you !
I have also seen that film more than once and I have a copy of it together with my favourite ones. It's a great movie, but very disturbing.

Your ideas are very interesting and we could be arguing for hours on end. I agree with some of them, though. For example, I think that Children should be taught HOW to speak Spanish and not only about grammar and writing. I also strongly dislike it when people use an English word when that word exists in Spanish (Unos "tips", Una buena "performance", etc).
ResponderEliminarYou're very optimistic when you say that Chilean people use a quarter of Spanish vocabulary: most people communicate with a thousand words at the most!!!
Corrections:
Nowadays English has become the most important language in the world, and little by little other languages are disappearing because of this imposiTION of thIS SO CALLED universal language. Schools and universities emphazise a lot teaching English, but many careers don’t emphasize to teach a well use of Spanish, a language which is totally wasted by Chileans. That is why sometimes it is really difficult in schools TO TEACH English: if students HAVEN’t even acquirED their mother tongue, it is even more difficult to/HOW CAN THEY POSSIBLY teach a foreign language. In my case, I think IT is not really meaningful to learn a language which is not related with psychology. It MIGHT be more useful if teachers tAUGHT me how to make a relation between languages, in this case English, and how people behave or learn.
I know that languages are a crucial factor in our learning process, it is important to know about them in order to comprehend our culture and traditions. Having in mind this, it is easier to understand how language influences our lives. It means that each country haS ITS own characteristics depending on the language that they speak. I think it would be really easy to choOse one language and get totally involved with it, but a language needS diversity to improve. That is why, languages are strongly influenced by borrowED expressions, exchange of vocabulary and evolution of words.
I do believe that English is getting powerful with the paSSING of the yearS, and maybe in the future, it will become the only language in the world, which is an idea that scarES me. Spanish is a beautiful language which is not being well useD in our OWN country. Most of the people speak Chilean and they use like a quarter of all the vocabulary that Spanish HAS. Commonly in schools English teachers don’t explain why children should learn this language. They imposed English like maths or history, but IT is not that simple. Acquiring a new language is a personal decision that every human being should have.
In my opinion Spanish has been underestimatED by schools, universities and Chilean people in general. There is a lack of loyalty to our own language. We are accustomed to makING an improper use of it speaking in a bad way. Also, depending of the context that we belong TO we choOse our vocabulary which in most cases is really poor and repetitive. Nowadays, English is getting into our lives, our classrooms and tastes, and teachers are imposing this language in an authoritative way. Chilean people should be more assertive in order to decide what language THEY want to improve and acquire. Teachers are those who can save Spanish and keep it as our first language, as OUR mother tongue.
